Position Summary

    To manage and develop the EMS technical helpdesk, supervise the Asset Management team and provide support to Asset Management contracts.
    Main duties and responsibilities include:
  • Supervise the Asset Management team.
  • Act as the prime technical point of contact for Asset Management customers.
  • Ensure that all Asset Management equipment requests are fulfilled and Service Level Agreements achieved.
  • Liaise with customers to provide applications advice and alternative equipment when required.
  • Hold technical review meetings with key Asset Management customers and undertake associated technical projects in liaison with the customer.
  • Manage the repair process for Asset Management customers.
  • Work with the Asset Management Helpdesk team and Customer Account Manager to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Liaise with external rental companies, original equipment manufacturers and other equipment suppliers.
  • When necessary organise special calibration requirements with customers.
Requirements

The successful candidate should hold GCSE’s in Maths, English, Physics or Electronics and preferably have undertaken higher education in a technical discipline although equivalent work experience is acceptable. Knowledge and experience of using electronic test equipment is essential in addition to previous experience within a customer facing role. Applicants must be able to communicate professionally and effectively both verbally and in writing along with being computer literate and confident in using MS software applications such as Word, Excel and Outlook. A flexible approach to tasks and willingness to take ownership and find appropriate solutions to issues is required, along with good organizational skills and the ability to work well within a team.
