Introduction to a Cycle Accurate Simulator
for a
SPARC V8 LEON3/3FT CPU
Presented by Tony Sims and Brian Larsen, TSIM is a cycle accurate, instruction-level simulator capable of
emulating LEON3/3FT based systems. Simulation performance of TSIM is more than 1 MIPS / 100 MHz of the
host CPU. Stand-alone mode simulation allows for debugging commands and manipulation of memory and registers.
As a remote target, TSIM supports GDB debugging capabilities.
